The FIT decision process provides you with a rich set of skills to apply to many decision challenges.

In this Prep Work unit, we'll give you a choice of three ways to explore and practice FIT skills.

Harnessing Information

We’ll work on an effective way to deal with “Information Overdose” - how to prioritize the information at hand: what is must have? What is nice-to-have? What is noise?

Engaging the Team

Different teams and types of decisions call for different processes. We’ll look at 6 decision-making processes, and which one might be best for your decision.

Apply FIT decision skills.

We’ll ask you to choose at least two FIT Tips that you think will be helpful for a decision you are making, and work with them in a decision you are making. We'll give you some tools to assist you: The full set of 52 FIT Tips, and the Decision Challenge Advisor app to help you choose tips that relate to issues you face. Finally, we’ll ask you to reflect and record your thoughts on how it worked.
